ZETEC Black top ECU
Hi all,
i have brand new ZETEC black top 1.8 i also have multiple ECUS
1- 98AB code REAR with key 60 pin
2- 97BB OWLS no key 104 pin
3- 98BB NEST 104 pin WITH KEY (MONDEO) with the exact wiring loom starts with white blue in 13 and black yellow 103,i have been searching on the
forum, and the diagram i have managed to find the colours do not match the colours of the wiring loom that i have. this is quite confusing.
I also have the wiring from a focus and but the wiring doesn't match the wiring in the haynes service and repair manual.
My question is, which one of these ECU's will be the best for my engine and where will i be able to find the wiring diagram suitable for the
ECU'S that i have.
My 60pin wiring from a Focus 1998 starts with a red in number one pin.
Where do the PATS connect? Where can i connect the LEDS & the diagnostic connections?
ANY OPINIONS AND HELP WILL BE GREAT! THANKS

You have a 1.8 blacktop engine, loom and ecu so it makes the most sense to use them together.
The Owls ecu with out key is bin fodder.
Keep the nest ecu as that could come in handy.
The info in the link above is for the 104pin looms. I cross posted on the Haynes forum and with me filling in a few blanks "Shorty".
Listed the 60 pin black top pin outs.
