Tesco Fuel Save

Well they say that "all good things come to an end", and so it is with Tesco Fuel Save.

This months shopping (on line) enabled me to fill my Passat with diesel, a couple of Jerry cans for the Suttol,
and a little green plastic can so the wife can cut the grass.

Over a £19 saving.

Shame the scheme ends this month.

Cheers
Paul G

Just been to Asda, diesel down to 108.9p

Better than spending thousands in Tesco to save 2p...

I got a telling off from Tesco for filling "cans" along with my normal tank full, apparently it's in the T's&C's??? Apparently I should have filled the "cans" in a separate transaction.

I complained to their HO, but did not get a satisfactory response.

£50 spend for 2p a litre saving
"To qualify for a 2p per litre saving in-store, a customer must spend a minimum of £50 and scan their valid Clubcard or Clubcard key-fob at the checkout or to qualify for a 2p per litre saving online, a customer must spend a minimum of £50 at Tesco.com/groceries and ensure they have entered their correct and valid Clubcard details at the time of payment. The minimum £50 spend need not be carried out in one transaction. Multiple shops will earn a saving of 2p per litre, as soon as the minimum spend of £50 is reached. The multiple shops must be carried out in the same calendar month."

Tesco is our closest supermarket so it's our usual shop for food stuffs, tomorrow I'm filling the car up with a 20p off per litre, can't complain at that considering we shop there anyway.
It also helped that I gave my mum my club card a while back, she uses it too but doesn't drive, it also helped that she had a massive party last month & bought it all in tesco :-)
Just a bit gutted that tesco is stopping the deal now, diesel is currently about £1.08 per litre so I will be getting it for 88p - it's been many years since I've paid that for a litre.

Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.
