Finished car

Looking for a complete finished car
Will consider, Westfield , MK , mnr or scratch built car
Must be a decent spec, not bike engine ( been there got the t shirt&#128512
Ideally Zetec or red top but will consider a good x flow
Want a good all round car for track days, hillclimb / sprints but still be able to cover long distance when required without drama or stress

I have built a Westfield x flow back in the 90's and had an mk with bike engine in the recent past so sort of know what I am looking for
I can see past cosmetic imperfections so don't mind bringing a good base car up to the spec I am looking for
As long as it has the makings of a good track day car that I can drive there and back I will consider most vehicles
Based in Leeds but can travel to pick up the right car at the right price
Please send me details and pics

Cheers

Paul

James' xflow is a well known and well sorted car. Worth a look I'd say.

Well after many hours of searching the classified sites and changing my mind half a dozen times I finally went for one of these......

Well in fact this one:

2001 boxster s
Its had a fair bit of work done including a clutch, brakes and some suspension parts.
Fairly locost to buy......probably not to run

I will definitely use this more than I would a 7 type car.
been out in it today and the heater is lovely!!
roof off when i need it and 250+ BHP on tap
Will obviously be adding a few go faster mods

Fine choice sir! These really are fantastic cars.

I always saw them as a poor mans Porsche. That was until I borrowed a friends S spyder for a weekend that is. They are a fantastic car in there own right, it was a real eye opener. The howl at 5000rpm is worth the money itself.

I doubt you will lose any money on it either!

Good luck with it, they really are great cars!

Cheers, I used to see them as a poor mans Porsche when they first came out but I agree they are a good car in their own right
I would happily buy one given the spec, two seater , open top, mid engine , 250 bhp with or without the badge
You have to rev it to make it go, but once you keep it in the red line and shift through the gears it goes like s**t off a shovel

Looking forward to some track day and weekend fun this year

Paul

Porsche ponies do pull harder than your average nag though!

I found the speedo hard to get used to. Not showing 30, 40, 50 but 25, 50, 75. That was my excuse for speeding anyway!

Yeah the speedo is a bit weird, I guess that is why there is a digital readout as well.
I tend to just look at the digi readout
