Sylva J15 - French Blue, Puma Engine

For sale due to a new V8 Project, Sylva J15 in French Blue, Ford Puma Engine on Throttle bodies, 156bhp and weighs 500kgs. During the build, much thought has gone into weight distribution, and weight reduction to give a fantastically balanced car with over 310bhp/ton. Car built regardless of cost. • Chassis / body:
o Purchased 2012 direct from Sylva, IVA passed Nov 2014
o Powder coated (prior to shot blast) - McLaren orange for main chassis, all suspension parts and engine mounts satin black
o Additional seat braces added
o Body work - French blue

• Engine / Gearbox:
o Ford Puma Engine fully tuned by Northampton motorsports to give a very usable 156bhp (Dyno plot available)
o Omex 600 ECU
o Fuel injected on Individual Throttle bodies
o Custom inlet manifold
o RamAir air filter
o Sylva Stainless exhaust manifold (4-1)
o Removable Stainless CAT (replaced with link pipe when not being MOT'd)
o Profusion Stainless Silencer
o IB5 Gearbox with Puma ratio's (Perfectly suited to car)
o Gearbox oil change 1300 miles ago
o Gear linkage via mechanical rod link using bearing rollers for a very smooth action
o Later model engine mounts to get rid of vibrations
o ENT24 drive shafts

• The following items were new during build and have done 1300 miles:
o Cambelt and aux drive belts
o Tensioners
o Water pump
o Thermostat and housing
o Clutch / release bearing / pressure plate

• Cooling:
o Polo Radiator and fan - Fan control via ECU
o Carbon side NACA ducts direct cool air to inlet

• Suspension / steering / Wheels / tyres:
o Gaz gold adjustable all alloy shocks (1.9" - rose jointed
o 300lb rear springs
o 175lb front springs (spare set of 200lb's for track)
o 13" Compomotive CXR wheels 6.5" running lower offset to give wider track (and improved handling)
o Toyo R888 tyres - 185 / 60 /13 front, 205 / 60 / 13 rear.....almost new
o Escort quick ratio steering rack...new from Rally design
o Front Caterham R500 uprights
o Rear Sylva fabricated uprights

• Brakes
o Front hispec calipers finished in factory blue with EBC greenstuff pads and braided hoses
o Rear hispec handbrake calipers in factory blue with hispec pads
o Discs - Fiesta all round
o Individual Wilwood integral master cylinders (no remote fluid reservoir) (Front brake, rear brake, clutch)
o Sylva pedal box with adjustable bias bar

• Interior
o Seats - Carbon wide base (very comfortable) - currently hard bolted to seat brace, but can be moved.
o Carbon panels where possible
o Removeable SPA 270mm steering wheel with SPA boss
o Koso Digital dash and Tim Gauges
o Savage switches
o Titon 3 inch (4 point) harness Driver and passenger
o Battery charge point (for easy hook up)

• Other info
o Lightweight Odessy battery
o Optional Light covers
o Sylva alloy fuel tank and filler cap
o Powder coated panels
o Double roll hopes (Optional extra)
o Carbon aeroscreen (with acrylic lips)
o Etec wing mirrors
o SPA central mirror
o LED rear light clusters, side repeaters, fog and reverse lights
o Twin tail pipe
o All stripes are removable
o Aerocatch bonnet catches
o Front hinged rear clam for easy engine access - (much better solution than rear hinged)

• General Car info:
o 1300 miles
o Just been serviced with fully synth oil
o All Iva build documentation included
o Supplied with 6 months tax
o No MOT required until Nov 2017
o IVA pass Nov 2014
o Shift lights

Bloody hell Paul, it seems like just yesterday i was around at yours looking it over ahesd of your iva! Good luck with the sale. This is a beautifully put together car - a fine example of the breed.

I know....No intentions of selling, but something has just landed in my lap, and my tinkering side has won me over.....I miss not getting my hands dirty.
