Cable-tec, Sutton in Ashfield
I just wanted to make a quick recommendation for Cable-Tec in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
I'm currently restoring a 1949 MGTC and one of the handbrake cables needed to be replaced/restored. The problem is that new ones don't
look very original and people have experienced difficulty with the brake shoe end fittings on some of them.
I took the broken cable to Cable-Tec and they have re-cored the original outer using the original brake shoe end fitting and put a new adjuster on the
other end. I now have an as new but original looking cable and at a lower price that the new off the shelf ones.
