Oil Pressure Sender

Hi,

Can anyone advise me if you have to use a specific OPS for the smiths flight gauges. Also, does it need to be in the left hand hole?

There is a sender installed in the right hand hole on my engine - can't tell what make it is but it looks like the one in the GBS pictures (red label, white italic logo). It also doesn't seem to have a connector and the previous builder has soldered straight onto the terminals. This also means I have no idea which wire is which.

Thanks in advance.

Just about to seal up my new engine harness and this is the only thing holding me up.

What senders are people using for smiths flight? I see some senders literally just have one terminal while others have three wires already hardwired. What do I need? Looking for billy basic to give me a gauge reading.

Thanks,

Ron
