Pinto lump

I've just been offered a type 9 box for nothing, complete with a 1.6 pinto attached. I only wanted the box but as I have only got a 1300 xflow I wondered if the pinto would be worth keeping as well. Bearing in mind cost ( ie I'm pretty close to skint at the moment ) how good would the 1.6 pinto be in comparrison to a 1.6 cvh or xflow?

i wouldn't bother with the 1.6 pinto if you already havea xflow or cvh. its a lot heavier iirc and for a 1.6 is nothing special at all compared to the other two.

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin

Cheers Ned. Just been offered a running 1800 zetec from my local scrappie for £100 so might go with that.

Would have to agree with Ned there- (upsettingly enough! ). The Pinto's so goddam heavy I can't believe it's be worth it.

The zetec on the other hand would be a fine idea!

James
