L7 Club GB Meet last night @ The Gate @ Bratton, Telford, Shropshire

Just wanted to thank Ox the other member of SMOG for travelling down to the Lotus7 Club GB meeting last night. It was a very good turnout from every manufacturer other than the orgainsers, MKx2 & Westfield eventually. Probably too cold to bring their K series powered motors out and instead decided to travel in the luxuary of an XK8 & or Elise, as you do. AAAAaaaahhhhh.

Anyway, thanks once again Ox for taking me out. Great car and good driver too. Hopefully I'll have mine on the road for next month. Fingers crossed anyway.

A lot of the L7Club woulda been at Brands for the club trackday! and....well, I'm not defending half the nonces who drive their cars in perfect weather only, but I have also noticed that there ain't that many of ANY Seven type vehicles on the road in all weathers not just cat's!

And....mine now has 150,000 miles on the clock, 100k in 3.5 years...It was my only car....now I've scrimped together enough money for an old AX GT..so the preconception that we all have cash seems to be somewhat incorrect doncha think?

p.s......we should all love one another!

Nope still the regular faces just not in Caterhams, in other cars.

We do love each other, or should at least even if it is at arms length. I was just amazed that for a L7CGB meeting not a single Caterham turned up.

Bloody wussies!

Agreed....MOST cateringvan owners are rather genteel and feel the cold methinks!!!

I'll gi'ya a hug if I ever see ya!! Just look out for a really beaten up yellow cateringvan with a big smiley on the back.....on a track near you hopefully

Keep up the good work!! Bit of trolling between Marques always provides some entertainment....specially like the whole cateringvan/ westerfield debates

My blah blah blah is faster/ bigger/ better n'yours....makes me cringe a bit!

Don't care what ya drive...just have fun!
