Pictures

I am having trouble insereting pictures in my posts (some of you may have noticed ).
How do I do it properly as they won't cut and paste and when i insert them using the url link to my archive all i get is a red cross.
I have done a search and tried various different ideas but no luck. It's probably something stucking fupid on my behalf but can you help.

easy that one! Rather than right clicking and copy/pasting, you need to right click, select properties, and then cut and paste the URL, into the post reply box. You either manually add the tags, or just click the right icon at the top (looks like a postcard).

as expected, the red x shows up the problem. You are right clicking on the title of the picture, i open the picture first and then right click it. Hence the two different urls above. I'll edit them both so urls show rather than pictures.

My method:

Resize image and file on PC
Open reply / New topic window
Bottom of window is "attachment" and browse button
Browse, select image and click open (I think) to attach it
Submit post

Mick

Try this in a different catagory as for some reason the attachment option does not appear here
