To be fair i had a valid question as the gts and others i found were for de dion which i dont want. If people get so wound up why dont admin put a sticky thread at the top that doesnt move with links etc? Not being nasty, just a suggestion, Jon

FAQ discussion 'raging' in the "Website Problems & Suggestions" forum about the best way to deal with repeated questions.

Don't worry too much about it - the question is valid, its just been asked and answered so many times it gets irritating for people who've been around for years (not me yet ).

Most people forget to do a forum search before posting - I know I do.

Its not helped by the fact that the search on this site is pretty much as unhelpful as it could be as it only does exact phrase searching which is a real pain in the...

Until... you discover that you can use % to delineate phrases so

chassis%plans%IRS

works a lot better than

chassis plans IRS

Chris, can we put a hint on the search form to indicate this?

The last time I was in hospital I did full drawings of both a De Dion and IRS set-up. I say full, but IIRC one lot were fully dimensioned and the other lot were complete all bar the dimensions etc.
If anyone's interested I'll have a look in my laptop for them and post them on here.

How about these that are floating around on a bunch of different forums. Never heard of anyone using them though

Please post them.

As luck would have it, the De Dion drawings are the completed ones and the IRS drawings still require a little work to make them presentable. I'll finish them off when I have some spare time some evening.
I'll post the De Dion drawings in a new thread in the Running Gear section of the forum for anyone who's interested.
