Help to find body moulds
I've just bought the world's only (or so I've been told) Westfield SS1 and want to start and campaign it in hills and sprints. Hills
being what they are, the chances of thumping it are fairly good, so I have to think about replacement bodywork. The guy I bought it off had already
sold the original Westfield moulds to "a father and son team from around Birmingham who build Locosts and had a view to building some
SS1s"
Does anybody out there know them or have any other ideas how I might find them.

Your best bet mate is to have moulds made of the body panels before you race it...

Getting a set of moulds made up was my plan B.
Any idea of roughly how much would it cost to get a set made up. The car is now in Belfast, so there is probably a limited number of firms that could
do it and I might have to get a boat-builder or somebody like that.

Mould price depends on finish of the panels and whether parts made from them will be painted, also how many parts to be moulded.
Is the body in one big section or smaller sections?

Body in 4 parts, large front section, large back section then the front scuttle which is easily removed. The middle section with the doors
wouldn't be so critical, though I suppose moulds for the outer door skins might be wise.
I shall try and chase down the website given above too. If moulds and parts are available, then I'm happy enough. I just don't want to
destroy the front or the back of it and find that they're irreplaceable and the car is ruined.
