Ha ha, they forgot to get the cabinets re-painted to exactly the right shade of red to match the car.

Holy crap!
My Doctors surgery isn't that clean.

Oh look, my eyes have gone all green.

If I sell the house and buy a caravan, I could have one of those, mmmm.

you must have a really expensive house!

it's the 2 driver arcade machine in the corner that does it for me!

Only current photo I have to hand shows a small side project I've started - can you guess what it's going to be? (yes, inspired by a certain avatar on here).

Cheers

Not really, a garage/workshop is cheaper to build; no internal walls, no carpet, no wallpaper chosen by her indoors, no arty light fittings, no bathroom, just a thunder box. Already got the tools.

My garage looks like a dump.

If it were otherwise, my cars would feel out of place! Why should I make an exception for anything...

I think mine is a typical "locosters" garage, I wouldn't win any prizes in this competition.

Ohh... I tidyied mine up before I took this...The viento is not in the garage
There isnt room for it

The box on the bench behind the steps is a LocoBlaster Home made sandblaster - cost me £50 to make including the gun head.

Now I am envious!

I have a double garage, but it's double-length, not double-width. And it's full of a combination of car bits, engineering tools... oh, and some domestic stuff.

Not enough room left to swing a mouse.

Hasten to add, my workshop in the pic above was done in true Locost style, all self built of course!

That was a bit of a learning curve and hard work but worth it! A good solid building, sized on the haynes manual dimensions for a sierra estate max width and length, then doubled on both counts.

Cost me a tad over £3500 to build it.

Ned and Rayward - How do you find those argos metal framed work benches you both have?

It's either knock my own up out of 2by4's, mdf and metal sheet or buy one of those as a base and modify it - or if it's up to scratch leave it alone.

The worksurface seems to be used for storage by both of you

G

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

If by "tidy" you mean uncluttered, I think I have to win........ Its empty other than for my workbench, welder and toolbox
