Airfields around Bristol?
Just looking for places to test the car at the limit (not that its built yet...) in a safe environment.
Any airfield track days like Elvington down the south west that anyone knows of?
I know Castle Combe's on my doorstep but fairly pricey and not huge runoff...
Chris.

Castle Combe is meant to be one of the best tracks in the country but you are right it needs a lot of balls. What about Pembray in South Wales if you
make a mistake you have all the sea to run off into. Sounds like you have nearly finished.
Thanks for hosting the instruction manual it has been a great help to me.

They do track days at RAF Hullavington which is only about 30 miles from Bristol and a nice trip up the M4. Try
http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/hullavington_airfield_track.htm for this years info. I'm a bit out of date but they also used to do them at
RAF Kemble which is only about 7 miles further on the same road.
Best regards Keith

Motorsport Events also run days at Keevil airfield which is not far from Bristol either.

I believe you can use the runway at Henstridge airfield for a small fee when they are not flying. Might be a bit far for you. Henstridge is about
midway between Shaftesbury and Yeovil.

Dude, if your avatar is correct "Present State" I would have thought the handling would be pretty static
