Playing region 1 dvds

Hi

Is there a cheap method of modifying a playstation 2 or Bush DVD player to play DVDs from region 1 or north America?

Try finding your DVD player on one of these:

I bought a DVD player from Argos for less than £30 that is multi-region.Made by Acoustic Solutions.

True there are many cheap multiregion players, but if you already have one, it is worth trying the hacking route

region X disc for playstation 2 just load it in then pick what region you want then put disc in. cost me more than a dvd player (years ago) £19 but I would think you could get it now alot cheaper from ebay or like
