Shock Length

Hi

I have a locost chassis with wish bone IRS.

The whole thing is bracketed up fine but I'm not sure what angle the wishbones should be at when I measure for the lenght of the shock and spring. i.e. should they be a right angles to to chassis when I take the measurement, or if not what sort of angle would you suggest.

Or am I just making this far to complicated. The mounting on the chassis is on the top rail of the chassis much like the book, the wishbone bracket is on the top wish bone.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards

Dave

I'd have the bottom bones level with the floor and go from there.
