Gents – What is the maximum allowed height for the aero screen from the scuttle?

that would depend how tall you are i guess, you have to be able to see over the top of it when seated..

If its for SVA then its explained in the manual, its referred to in section 8 - glazing . There is a maximum height, the windscreen horizontal plane, above which the flyscreen becomes a windscreen with associated requirements, glass, wipers, washers etc. The height is relative to the seat, this is explained with a diagram in Annex 2 - Determination of Windscreen "Horizontal Plane".

This information is based on my manual obtained March 2002.

I think that there are web versions of the manual available.
