Anyone from London?
Hi guys,
Just wondering if there are many people in the London area on here? Although I am currently in Monmouth & Bristol I will be moving back to London
mid september and hoping to take the car with me!
Fat chance I know!
Had an idea of finding some mass storage facility down that way so many of us could store cars and make it work out cheaper. Anyone aware of such a
place or think it would be a worthwhile idea?
Just trying to get a feel for demand
cheers
Rich

Was thinking more of finished cars but could be an idea to have a group workshop too.

I think it would help if you narrowed it down a bit, It can take three hours to get accross it at times so locality is important

problem is i don't know where i will be moving to. Last place was just off Tottenham Court Road but not sure that is an option! Cost me enough
for a small flat!
Sorry to be so vague!
Although i have a friend who lives near Wimbledon who owns a seven. Sorry to say its a cateringvan! But he's a top bloke. Anyway, it was with
him that i came up with the idea so i guess that sort of area.

Move to Essex instead - loads of old farm buildings available
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

There is a proposal set up a Colin Chapman Museum and Educational Centre in London N8 ( Hornsey area) on the site of the original Lotus works.
This just happens to be 100 yards from where I live
I have suggested, and it was received with some interest, that part of the educational aspect could be chaps like us constructing Lotus 7 type cars,
just as was done in 1959.
Everything depends on the Council giving planning permission so it is not going to happen tomorrow but it is a possibility.

150-300 a month!
