Who has done a Trickshifter install?
Whereabouts did you mount the red gear linkage switch rod thing? And how? Threaded direct on to the linkage after chopping it down?
Any photos for "inspiration" would be much appreciated

Here's what my pal did for me. I'm not sure it will hold up to the abuse but he assures me it's strong enough. Time will tell, if I
ever get round to fitting it...
Edited to say check my photo archive as I can't make them show here. 3 pics of what we've done.

Hmm did you trickshifter come with 2 rose joints as mine only came with one
As you said that doesn't look as strong as it could be but it will probably hold.
Does that effectively put the unit closer to your gearknob than the gearbox then?

If you look in my photo archive at the engine bay pic then you can see how I have done it. Its not a great pic but you can get an idea from it
anyhow.
It is attached to a paddle setup but i don't see why it would not work just as well up the tunnel.

This rod links the gear stick to the direction changer on the driver's footwell bulkhead. I'm planning to mount the trickshifter nearer
the engine bay so we have more options for the wiring and less clobber in the tunnel.
It came with the two rose joints as standard. Sorry.
