Oil leak on gearbox flange

Evening All,

My Type 9 gearbox has developed a slight oil leak from the flange between the main box and the extension housing. As a temporary measure, until I can remove engine and gearbox, I was thinking of using a "leak sealant".
Has anyone any experience of using either "Plastic Padding Leak Fix" or a product sold by Frost Restoration called "Oyltite Stik".

Any advice gratefully received.

Regards

David

I used the Frost oyltite stuff a while ago, (more than a year) on my boy's BMW R900 bike, as a temporary fix, Hasn't leaked yet, so not so temporary. Regards Ray.
