steering shaft query

Has anyone got a picture of the steering shaft handy?

I dont know where mine is from as I got it off someone but the steering shaft seems too long! - i need to find my camera to be able to take a photo to show people before you ask!

Im referring to the bit between the steering wheel connector (that tends to be trianglar shaped) to the steering rack

It sounds like a Sierra column. This is the one on my Phoenix.

if i remember correctly the steering shaft is modified ,as it has a rose joint put on it that bolts into a bracket on the side of the chassis but i have an old chassis so they may well be using a different set up now. cheers scott

thanks, great photo. Tiger have got back to me, apparently I have the wrong one! Gota send my steering shaft back for them to send the correct one. The one I have is almost 40 inches long! well too long.

Hopefully when the correct one arrives the fittings will become obvious.
