Someone are running et35, with 195/50r15 on the rear weel. I tryed et49,5 from 1995 mondeo on the rear weel with 205/55/15, it seems ok. But I only did a trial . I will retry to put bodywork (hope) within a pair of weeks an will let you know. I do not know if on the fron weel et49,5 is ok for you becouse I have sierra uprights .

I ordered some compomotive 16x8 wheels for the rear with an et of 51 which should have been just right BUT... compomotive now say they can onlyt do et35 max and i have already bought the 245/35 tyres.... so I guess I am going to have to extend my arches (I make it about 17mm to be comfy)

should look good in the end though

I think avon arch is already very big, so I would not extend it. Try to find out weel with the right et or have it done for you ( I saw europa spares catalog, and I remember someone can made weel , you have to teel them measure. I do not remember how much but it was not very expensive as you could think

I saearched for months trying to find 16" wheels that were available in both 7" and 8" widths. The only ones i came up with were the compomotive MO's. when it came to ordering them the 7" can have an et38 no probs but the 8" have a max of et35 (if you want the six spoke wheels it's et10 max!!).

I could have gone for 3 peice split rims but that would have cost twice as much and I have already spent £1100 wheels tyres so decided to go with it and extend the arches. - gives me an opportunity to make them the same size at the same time!

Jusat as well i had already decided to spray the rear arches black.....

I see yesterday the et 52 but I don't like the design, so in the end I will fit et 42 too. I find out a nice wheel, I will post a pair of photo with 195/55/15 and 205/55/15 when I will have the new aly wheel.
