can anyone recomend an oil pressure sender for a dash mounted light

Well any sender with the same thread as youve just tapped.

The pressure at which it comes on is up to you but ensure you dont have it set too low as most lights only illumionate once damage is done.

switches operate at different pressure's just want to find one most suitable for an r1, as i dont know what the pressure is on tickover and dont want the light to come on prematurely

Why not get an adjustable one and set it so that it flickers at idle.
