Webber or Pierburg carb

Gents – My Pierburg carb off my 1.8 pinto unit is damaged and needs a slight repair, but I have been offered a twin chalk Webber off an E-Max 1.6 pinto free of charge and in good working order!!
Is it worth changing the carb or stick with the pierbug???

Comments please!

Iwan, some Webers have an electric choke which can be known to mis-behave-apart from this webers 1st,p/burg 2nd and vv have advantage of being lighter --so you can throw them further!!
