Its not actually my car but a mates, i just did all his GRP work for him.
Yes it started out as a dutton sierra that was truly horrible both in terms of appearance and handling, the bodywork was removed, chassis VERY heavily modified then the body chopped up and made back into the Mk1 escort that its donor was in the first place.
i guess you could say that its been an exercise in reversing what kit builders do.
we have taken a kit based on an escort and turned it back into an escort again, albeit one with a difference!

Presumably that means it has had to be SVAd, as it doesn't use the "original unmodified chassis"?
