Marmite

Has anyone else noticed that Marmite is not a black as it used to be, or as strong.
Is nothing sacred?

Did you try the limited edition Guiness version ? Thought that would have been strong but not so.

I think you get used to it, I just stick it on thicker !

We used to drink Bovril at work, they wouldn't allow the ingredients that were in it any more. I don't like the squeezy Marmite things and it must be weaker. If you put too much on your toast it used to take the roof off your mouth but it doesn't any more.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I got some free marmite from some friends who tried it. They hated it, so brought it down to me.

I have 3 jars in the cupboard. Love the stuff, but don't eat it terribly often.

Yes, I'm a yank, and I love Marmite. You can thank my wife (she's British).

Branston Pickle too. YUUUUUUMMM!

Hmm,

does it still turn white if you put it on a plate and stir it?

Love Marmite, but vegemite eeugh vile stuff.

Haven't tried the squeezy stuff yet, the cynic in me is shouting "they've just diluted it with water and are going to be charging more for it "

Marmite on toast this morning

It was nice but the egg on toast with a splash of worcester sauce that followed was better
