Anybody using the Ford V6 24v Cosworth engine

Yep NeillP from the luego section, had his car at Newark, Very welll done.

I am using that engine BOA (earlier type), mated to a mt75 4x4, two turbos (just for good measure), homemade ecu.

Finished everthing enginewise except the chargecooling.

if you need to know about tunning this engine speak to fitzroy pinnock at top boss performance tunning. what he dont know about this engine is worth knowing. his engine is about 600bhp now with twin turbos plus more to come. tell him daz with the westfield put you on to him.

Looking at your profle you have a 2.9 so I assume you're interested in info on transplants. If so then you might find that the TVR S Series forum on Pistonheads can help. Quite a few have done the 2.9 12v to 24v upgrade.

woth looking into the BOB engine though, better in many ways than the BOA version





Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion retro car restoration and tuning

i was lokking at a bob engine on the scrapyard sounded nice aswell i was gonna buy it. i went back and he had sold iam still keeping my eyes open for another one. ive seen one with twin turbos on the engine was stock and it had 300bhp

Think BOB engine requires a cat, which is why i didn`t go for it.

Makes 30hp more though.

BOA engine with BOB cams is the best mix of the 2.

What ever you want to know about the BOA let me know i have done over 30 conversions into sierra's tvr's transits oh and a loom for a Luego lol

BOA has a single duplex timing chain, bob two simplex timing chains, only main engine difference.
