You dont have to use the correct plug if you dont want to - i just fitted female spades to my wires and pushed them straight on.
The wires were then secured with cable ties to prevent them straying.

I'm missing the cable part that fits into the distributer itself. On mine it has a 3pin push in fit connector as can be seen in the photo. Using spades is a possible answer (if I knew which connector when to which) but not ideal IMO. Rescued attachment plug.jpg

The one in your first picture is a completly different design. The one in the last picture looks like a 3-pin 'Junior Power Timer' connector; you can get them from: http://trigger-wheels.com --> Sensors and Connectors --> Bottom of page. £4.49

The wire in the top pic goes around the dizzy and into the same connector as I need (pretty sure anyway) I'll take a look at trigger-wheels

I believe the top pic is from a carb'd Sierra. The bottom one is the same as on my injection Sierra.

The injection won't have the advance mechanism built in AFAIK.

But if you're as desperate as you sound, I'd be using spade connectors anyway until the right solution comes along!

Cheers,
James
