The previous ones have been round Hodnet, but the attendance dropped off rapidly.
Maybe somewhere near Whitchurch might be more appealing.

Speaking to Jos this morning, a weekday evening may attract more people.
I'm thinking of some time during the last couple of weeks in August.

I'd like to get back to the monthly meets we had at the start of last year, but it got to a point where I was turning up wondering if anyone else would.

Martin.

Well Whitchurch is only 30 miles from me, and I don't even think thats the most direct route!

I am fine on a weekday evening as long as it's one of my nights off (I work nights )!

If it does get a bit scarce on the ground, I have tagged along to the cheshire meet of the WSCC and they all seem a great bunch of lads and last time we went for a quick blast to the Cat & Fiddle and back. So it could be feasible to join up with them every now and again??? (just a suggestion obv.!) They meet 1st Thursday of each month at the Whipping Stocks Pub Nr Knutsford (don't know how far that is away from you guys!)

Steve

edited to add: Ox and Richi et al often meet up on a Thursday night at the Stormy Petrel in Ternhill, they may be interested in meeting up also, although I guess you prob already know this?

is there any way sorting out map of shropshire with all our locations on so we can find out wheres the most central area to prganise the meet?

sundays were ok with me EXCEPT i tended to watch the GP or F1 so maybe earlier or later on sundays?

i would do evenings as long as it was close by and at around 6:30 ish.

Hope we can all agree and sort some dates out.

Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.

I haven't worked out if you can limit the map, but here's a Frappr map you can add your location too.
If you prefer, put the town centre instead of anywhere more specific.

Martin.
