I'm using Mk4 golf calipers, which are alloy, and I believe are identical to most of the VW/Audi parts in that year range.

I'm using cosworth rear running gear and the caliper carriers on the Golf units leave the pistons about 10 mm further out (radially) than I would like on the standard rear discs. I haven't decided if I'm going to make up brackets to deal with this, or buy Focus RS rear discs and have them turned down. I might also be able to get away with them as is.

They may be a better fit on standard Sierra rear parts, I don't have any to test.
