Current bid is £800 which is top money for an eBay engine. £1000 to £1200 from a known dealer with a good reputation.

It all seems there except for the clocks, if you are going to use them.

Be ware of things that you buy from eBay. There is no warranty. If you win the auction, you pay your money. You just have to hope that what is for sale is good.

I paid more for an Ebay engine - doesn't make it right though.. although no regrets thus far.

Looks ok, doesn't mention mileage but his money back offer makes it sound genuine. Just make sure you pay through paypal using your credit card so your better covered.

don't think you will need anything else except prop/adaptor and other specifics to your car - exhaust etc.

I don't know about the price as I am not in the market for an r1 engine, but as it only has a few mins left I wanted to at least give you an opionion.

Are the engine numbers in tact? One picture shows some numbers, but I do not think they are long enough to be engine numbers.

Worth checking if you can.

Personally I think I would have a word with Malc at Yorshire-Engines.

You might pay a bit more but he's a top bloke and all his engines are A1 and low mileage, if there's a problem with it then you have some come back rather than none with ebay.

For a couple of hundred quid more I reckon it's worth it for the peace of mind.

Rich.
