motorbike brakes in road wheels
Maybe silly question. But trying to do the math on this one. Is it as simple as a 310mm motorbike disk will fit inside of a 14inch wheel.
Thinking that 310mm is equal to 12.4inch.

A 14" wheel, internal diameter will be much less than 14" probably as low as 11" depending upon the wheel. Then there is the caliper
to contend with - this varies also from bike manufacturer to manufacturer. Best bet is to get the wheel you really want and measure them, then work
from there....

Agree with steve, it's just not that simple, the inner diameter will vary between different manufacturers. The wheel offset also has a bearing
on what disc/calipers will fit. Mine has
fireblade rotors on the back, under 13" Rims, but they only fit because of wheel offset.

As Steve pointed out you're looking at the disc diameter, not the caliper diameter which will always be larger obviously, and the inside of the
wheel will also be smalller than the stated rim size so you lose out both ways.
Also bike calipers are often radial mounted with the brake pipe union on the outside of the caliper which means you need even more clearance than
simply to clear the caliper itself.
Stuart Taylor have used them on kit cars before though, so it's do-able, although Im not sure what calipers or discs they used.
