driveshafts

is there any other driveshafts that i can use that are shorter that will fit the sierra end bits.

Aye - shortened sierra ones - search on here for that.... Various places will supply new to your specs but can be rather dear.

ive already asked at willenhall driveshafts they want over 200 each but if i cant find any shorter ones ill have to buy em.

Blimey riley! I'm sure I didn't pay that much for the STM (now Aries) shortened driveshafts!!!!

i was going to make my own ive had a go and they seem ok. but i dont no if they will take the power and i dont want them snaping at high speed. and iam going to take it to the strip so i dont want them snaping on take off.

STM (now aries) modifies existing ones for around £60 . GB Engineering does brand new shafts for around 110 each. They'll even do 'unbreakable' ones for a bit more.

there is a bolke down the road from me he's an ally wheel sepsalist but can make any thing i no he can make shorted props to order so he shoud be abl to do drive shafts as well

If you're near South Wales at any time, you could go to Bar Props - Andrew there has an excellent reputation for making quality shafts (for motorsport) at very competitive prices.

You just need to shorten the shaft by cutting off the length required then get the splines rerolled on the end.

Sounds dead easy... now then, were are them rollers......
