Rockingham in the wet?

Anyone done it in the rain?

Just pondering before I book it as It's in a fortnight and isn't the cheapest.

Just wondering if you still get your money's worth if it's pissing it down?

I can book a garage for a bit extra.

Pat...

Pat have not done rockingham in the wet but is a great track in the dry.

Was back in november 2005 when i did it, was dam cold but dry.
We did not book a garage but got in one no problem just turn up early.

Is a great track will run off on most corners execpt the banking which would be fun in the wet (6 foot high wall on the left off you).

Would love to do it again at some point but can not really afford another one so soon.

Have fun if you do decide to go.

Tony.

Yes joel it is a long time ago, but can still remember that trailer you brought your car on.

Was the first real circuit i had driven, after doing only elvington airfield as few times before.

I seem to remember something very agricultural as if it was used to being on a farm or the like.
Was that yours, it could have been some body else, my memory is not what it used to be getting older by the minute.

Now what were we taking about... just give me a minute i will get there.

Same one that we went too... but we were without car (still building Hellfire II). Very good day but as Tony said VERY cold - average temp for the day was 5 degrees.

BTW Tony - the 6 foot high wall is on the right unless you were going around the wrong way! We have video of it on our website.

Steve

It was so funny - the man who cant be named with lips of blue, had shorts on and one of my NGK Coats on with hood pulled up and cowering in a corner trying to escape that bitter wind. He would not admit to being cold for ages... prolly because he could hardly speak due to shivering.

Bless, when will he ever learn...

Steve
