Lovely noise!

I was driving home through the Cotswolds this morning, and at one point had a Jaguar XKR in front of me.

What a LOVELY noise that car made each time it accelerated! Not particularly loud, but very sweet...

Thats because it's a V8. Best sound ever!!

Andy

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Quite high-revving though - nothing like a Yank-tank rumble. Very quick gear shifts too - do they have paddle shift? Maybe it's an auto box...

Theyre all autos - thats what put me off the idea of getting one....no manual option at all - takes the fun out of driving it!
Does sound good, a mate at work has one, and it is nice, but still not as good as my new toy
