Puegeot 1.9 td engine.

Im after one of the above, does anyone know anywhere i can get a complete engine cheap??

Be carefull what engine you get as there are a few differences between the the years and models that might make it a pain to change !! A friend has just got a 306 td brought into his garage for an engine change. The customer supplied the engine which looked the same but when he took the old engine out he found quite a few differences like the sump,turbo etc

xantia and 306 have different sumps and iirc aircon models are slightly different with the pump/belt arrangements..

there was also a 2.1 derivation fitted to 406's iirc.

Yeah, I have a DHY motor from a Pug 306 D turbo all complete. I sourced it to replace a blown motor in a mates 306 but it turned out that just the turbo had blown, and he scrapped the car

Located down in Hampshire, not looking for a lot for it, need the space!
