Bargain Argon

At last I have an affordable quote for gas to feed the Rehmann TIG160.

Air products: Ouch!

BOC: Less painful but still ouch.

Direct Gas:

£4.50 per month no time limit on that, bring it back and the payments stop.

£12 refill

That is for a 10 litre 230Bar bottle.

20 litre is £4.50/month and £16 refill

50 litre is £4.95/month and £22 refill

Above +VAT of course.

We use them at work, (fab shop), although my rates a for a private customer. They are much cheaper than all of the competition around our way.

Gas Direct, NG23 5EE, 01400 282626.

He is delivering it to me wednesday at work - no charge. This is not because who I work for, they would deliver to my house if I was in - again no cost.

Surely thats a bargain, 1st month will cost me £16.50 + VAT or 1.5 mini bottles from Machine Mart.

Dont bother, it is just a load of boring crap about argon shielding gas prices.

Google cognitoscans instead for the full size version of my avatar, it is a huge image. Wish I had a bigger screen.

Yeah. Between photoshoots and jungle escapades I often phone around suppliers of inert gas to see what deals I can get. It is quite cheap here in Australia because of the strong pound, but the transport costs are prohibitive.
