zetec oil pressure sensor size

quick question,

I need to replace the original oil pressure sensor, with the sensor for a pressure guage, which (unsuprisingly!) does not fit
so i need to order an adaptor
anyone know what thread size i need to go in the block?

2L zetec

I left mine alone and plumbed it into the head. That way I get oil pressure in the head and it makes me feel better.

At the cam wheel front of the engine on the inlet side there is a blanking plug. Take that out and you'll find a tapered thread that my Raceline oil pipe screwed straight into.

There is another blank plug behind the coil pack bracket as well. Rescued attachment Oil Pipe.JPG

fantastic, thanks

what size is your raceline hose fitting?

i have racetech fitting , will that be the same?- slightly nervous of taking out the blanking plug in case the oil pipe does not fit!

hi,

sorry to open this thread again,
can anyone tell me if this is a good place to measure the oil pressure?

for example if the pick up pipe goes dry during cornering will it show the drop?
