De dion bracket positions

I am finally getting round to fitting a GTS de dion bar (+4" wide) that I got back in the day. It doesn't have shock or panhard rod mountings fitted, anyone got pics of one with them fitted so I can see how it's done?

Also wondering how best to rustproof that curved void round the back of the big round tube, between the trailing arm links. I have been pondering a rag on a bit of string as a paintbrush, and expanding foam filler.. any thoughts?

ta!

Here's mine, but you might need to squint to see the details.

De-dion
De-dion

The shock brackets were orginally above the trailing arm mounts, but that didn't suit my chassis so I chopped 'em off and I'm now mounting the shock on the end of the top trailing arm bolt in single shear - looks bad but I'm assured an M12 bolt can take it.

The panhard rod has a rose joint at one end which bolts to a threaded boss on the de-dion.

HTH.
