lift off hinges

Hello

can anyone help me?

I need 4 lift off hinges in CHROME all nice and shinny for attaching to the windsreen supports.

I have found some here

but I cannot bring myself to parting with over £50 for 4 hinges

The link is blocked at my work place but I was looking for some once and happened upon some impressive beasts attached to the doors of a Dakar - apparently they buy them froma fridge / freezer manufacturer, so either ring the Dakar guys or start surfun!

The prong bit looks a bit short on the torpedo type. The "Lift Off Hinges - Stainless Steel 304 grade" look more like the traditional type and would put the pin closer to the upright.

EDIT: hmmm... actually, they look a bit big - 100mm ~4"

For the same reason (keeping costs down) I will use the catervan ones, only in black and not as bling but very cheap..
