hydraulic clutch ? ?

hi g uys the bloke i bought my car off was intent with fitting a machanical clutch mechanism where a hydraulic one was,it's a tl1000, i can;t get hold of him just wondered if there are any reasons why i can't just use the bike m/c and actuator. seems pretty straight forward to me

You can certainly use the bike M/C and actuator. Lots of people have used the brake lever with suitable modifications. I'd rather have a hydraulic clutch over a cable any day....

that's what i was thinking just get the clutch lever modified, obviously the master cylinder would have to be moved 180 degrees, to be horizontal?
