assembling raceleda front end ? ?
hello there
i am just about to assemble my reaceleda front uprights/hubs, but before i start, i was wondering if any one had a build manual or drawings/parts list
etc, i also want to make sure i have all the parts before i start the assembly
this is what i have at the moment

Never done one, but it should be straight forward.
Trial fit first and then see what/where parts go, should be easy.
Just don't tighten anything up until you are happy.

well I am not expert in this specialised field but it appears you are missing the track rod arm.
Photos I have seen show an arm that bolts to the hub carrier that allows the steering rack track rod to connect to it using a track rod end?
here we go: bottom centre of this photo.
also notice the hub carrier is not symetrical - make you you have it right way up and on correct side.

Hi Finlay,
Could you let me know how you get on, and maybe take some snaps as you assemble? I will be putting my Raceleda front end together in the next few
weeks so would appreciate any hints and tips.

sorry mate, i ve just finished them, only took me approx 3 hours start to finish, wasnt nearly as bad as it looked
the tips i would give are just lay everything out like i did in the first pic, put the up rights in the ovan approx 160 for 5 to 10 mins then take
them out and fit the stub axle and the top and bottom rose joint adaptor pins
then fit the brake caliper carrier onto the face of the upright
then fit the brake disk to the hub and secure(make sure the disk is the right way round)
then marry the hub/disk to the axle with the large tapered bearing inside the hub along with seal
then flip the upright and hub over and fit the smaller bearing, greased first, secure the hub on to the axle with the retaing washer (the one with the
key way) ant the axle nut
then fit the calipers and pads
bobs your uncle
any probz just give me a shout nearer the time on u2u

i found it easy but wasnt too keen on the bearing bit, never having done that (and having had the wheels fall off a trailer once  )
whats the going rate for a full set like that above now?
