Viento final weight

Just curious about how much other Vientos weigh.

The Luego web site says build weight from 600 -700Kg

Mine was 750kg with full tank at Sva,

Does mine need to go on a diet ( just like me! )

What did other Viento weigh in at?

Paul

Mine is a bit of a bloater then @ 800kg, must be due to me v heavy cast iron v6 ford boat anchor!!
I also have a 12 gallon tank aswell so there some extra weight there.
Must get me ass in gear and get the turbo kit on that will improve power/weight a fair bit.

think mine weighed in at 758kg, which I though was kind of heavy but it seem pretty average. I think Luego's 600 might be a teeny wheeny bit enthusiastic.

Cheers

Mine weighs in at 800kgs ,a bit of a bloater, but I put that down to the stainless steel panels.

Do any of you guys have the stainless panels? I'm wondering how much extra weight these add??

Cheers

Had a good look over mine today to see if Icould loose some weight in the future..

Car seats - from MX5 - could save 10+ Kg with fiberglass seats

Rear parcell shelf - remake -could save 5Kg

The car was 748 kg at sva so with a lot of effoert could get it down to 730Kg at best

The biggest saving so far is alli pannels not stainless and carb inlet which is a lot lighter than the injection system and manifold.

Dave J,

Mine is fitted with the stainless panels aswell.
These cars are v heavy anyway, i remember it took two people to lift chassis but they are very strong chassis thou. My aim is to get the power/weight up so it performs better by turboing!!
cheers Colin

Dont know my weight... or the Cars

But the car has to be 750-800Kgs.
Stainless panels all round, even the Battery shelf, and the bulkhead is lined with polished stainless. Bling bling bling

They are not leightweight cars. They are build for cruising and comfort. Just like me... I'm no sprinter. However the Viento is quicker off the mark than I am

I wondered what that box of bits I'd mysteriously saved was

Never mind, seems to work OK without 'em
