ZX12R cooling

I've been searching for previous threads on this subject and came across THIS and just wanted to check that the "map" drawn by rjbrookes is correct. It looks about right although perhaps may add a t off from the thermostat to top of polo rad as per "wheezy".

Any thoughts before I crack on. I've checked Hellfires site which I guess would be the most obvious place and looks right according to that, but given I'm not entirely sure thought I'd double check here.

Actually, the more I look at it it seems wrong, shouldn't the header tank sit on a t off the top of the rad to top of engine?

I think i just need one pipe from top of rad to top of engine (thermo housing) with a t off to bottom of header tank. And then the thrmoe overflow to top of header tank.

And for the bottom one pipe to water pump with a t off for the oil cooler?

And the rest of the connections (Pump and other side of oil cooler) are from engine straight back to the engine?

I've confused myself now :-?

P.S. yes I have moved this thread as it made more sense here so I deleted the old one.

We have it plumbed in how you describe it, not as rjbrookes diagram.

Thanks guys, the linked one looked wrong according to others I'd seen but just wasn't sure.

Looks like he had pressure issues but then the pump was linked straight to the header!!

I shall crack on with it.

Hellfire - What did you do with 3rd outlet from header and the small rad outlet? Just blank them both off or connect them?
