Who's been out today?

Just got in from an hour of fun!! I think this was my best trip out to date - weather beautifully warm, new flyscreen fitted which means I can actually see without wearing a lid, even up to 90+....plus I let my tyres down to 16psi from 17, made an incredible difference (or seemed to)

What have you lot been up to?

Had 2 new victims in the car today - SWMBO's aunt and uncle.

Both 65 years old - getting in and out the car was a bit of a laugh.

They seemed to enjoy the run out - nobody was sick and they both said they had a good time ...

It seems to be a ritual now for all visitors to be subjected to a "run out". Managed to make the village hard man cry last year after a short run thru the twisties near me. You have to smile...

Martin

I had problems when I first finished building mine - I had to find enough alternative routes in order not to annoy the locals too much when taking people out. It's not exactly quiet.......

Yes, I've actually started to feel sorry for some of my locals. Except Richard and Judy who I always give a few extra Krpm as I go past their house (with its humungous extension).....

Had a quick play, but SWMBO's birthday so only brief, but lovely in the sun!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Did about 100 miles Me and Kev99 ( my brother ) went down to the SG7 meeting at Baldock bit of a boring run down the A1 but still enjoyable with it being so warm and the sun out.

Was good to catch up with a few people i haven't seen since last year, probably 10 or so cars turned up including a very nice Gineta that had just passed SVA.

Had a great day out in the sun, couple of tintops who tried to have a go, but were soon put in their place and a chap in a volvo who asked if it was a Caterham and wanted a chat at the lights.
Only one problem i forgot the sunblock and now have the redest arms and face in the world
