Cortina mk4 steering lock & key

ok I'll admit this was my fault, after the Falcon got bashed up (a few years ago) and took it back home, I threw he key into the field in a temper oops

erm I can't find in it, may have sunk in the mud or the cows might have eaten it

So like, I need a new lock and key...

any one got one going spare???

Plus any ideas about getting the old lock out without destroying my lovely column?? or is it drill time

I'm looking for one too, the barrel is the same as the mk1 sierra (which I'm using the column of for my Indy), I cannot find one anywhere. I had to drill the centre of the barrel with I think about an 8mm bit then turn it with a screwdriver to the no 1 position and there is a pin a the side that you push in. If you have a similar old ford key that is worn, it will open the lock with a bit of wobbling around and the like, once you get it out you can get a proper key cut using the number on the side of the barrell.
