seats do they need E mark

Do seats need a E mark coz mine are home made, will they pass sva???

Don't think the foam seats some people take to SVA will be "E" marked....not noticed any markings on my Cobra seats, either

They have to be fitted correctly, too - look for seatbelt height, secure fastenings etc etc...

As long as they are secure and have no sharp edges, they will pass.Also if the seatbelts pull/attach on them, they will be counted as part of the seatbelt system and must be strong enough.
No "E" mark required.
