Hi thats ten or so of them that have broke now. And i think there are about 4 cases of a steering arm breaking.
I thought Marc MNR had these tested. I do not recall the results of that testing ever being made public though.

im aware of five now ???, all the old original bruce casting / machining, the ones that i know have failed excluding this incident have been accident
related / inpact related
the ones we have been using are a different casting / and are machined differently, we did try to have them tested by a well know suggested
organisation who said they didnt have the facilities to test, all that can be ensured is the castings are made / heat treated / machined to british
standards
ditto steering arms since we have made them none have bent ( early ones had lightening holes in them )
