metal tread vinyl

Afternoon all

I've been reading several threads where people have used vinyl metal tread effect for flooring and I like the idea as it's easy to keep clean and isn't such a problem when wet.

Where is this stuff available from? I'd prefer a national store as I'd like to see some before buying but the internet is normally cheaper. also it it available off a roll or only as tiles?

Any help much appreciated
Nigel

You do realise to buy new the proper type (hard) vinyl tiles will cost you about £25 per sq m don't you?!

If you can afford them they're a wonderful floor to have in your garage though - my father 'acquired' a load about 10 years ago when the factory he was in charge of replaced the flooring. Sadly the amount didn't stretch to doing my garage as well

Strangely enough B&Q do it as a floor covering at 3m wide on the roll.

Different styles as well. i.e. dimples, 20mmm dots, treadplate etc.

Particularily like the grey with 20mm dots, reminds me of high end pit flooring.
