rules on exhaust height/position?

Are there any rules specific to where the exhaust pipe exits the car?

maximum height?

angle?

etc...

thinking about using standard 4 into 1 header/manifold and coming up and across the back, but might have to have the exhaust coming out higher than expected.

I may lengthen the tail pipe so it looks more standard!
