I haven't started mine up yet so I can't say too much, but my first thought would be to wonder if the battery is dead?

If not, do you have any pics of the wiring?

James

The other battery wire?
Electricity in the battery?
The main fuse?
A complete circuit?
A wiring loom?

A few fundamental things that could be missing

Your going to have to give a few more clues!

The obvious thing would be to check you have earthed the loom, engine and chassis properly back to battery -ve.

Once you confirm that then start checking for 12V with a multimeter at the permanent live where it goes to your ignition switch and then go from there.

As mentioned, you have virtually no chance of sorting it out without a multimeter. I got a dinky new one off ebay for £5 delivered and it does all the basic things quite nicely.
